Home to MIT, Harvard, Stanford — and Thousands of Other Great Universities
The USA has more world-ranked universities than any other country. With OPT work rights and exceptional research facilities, it remains the world's #1 study destination.
Why Study in United States?
The United States hosts over one million international students, making it the world's leading destination for international higher education. American universities dominate global rankings, with the US holding more positions in the world's top 100 than any other nation.
American higher education is known for its flexibility. Students can explore multiple subjects before declaring a major, take courses across departments, and switch programmes more easily than in most other systems. The liberal arts tradition encourages broad intellectual development alongside professional specialisation.
After graduation, Optional Practical Training (OPT) allows students to work in the US for 12 months, with STEM graduates eligible for a 24-month extension — giving 3 years of post-study work in America's world-leading economy.
